Maple Cinnamon Almond COnutButter Bacon

This literally tastes like a brown sugar cinnamon pop-tart – a personal childhood fav! This is such an EASY addition to your brunch spread. A total crowd pleaser – adults and kids alike! Enjoy!

Yield: 12-16 slices

1 lb (package) nitrate free bacon or turkey bacon

2 TBLS coconut sugar or swerve granulated

1/2 TBLS ground cinnamon

2 TBLS Maple Cinnamon Almond COnutButter, room temperature

 

In a small bowl, mix together sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

 

Cook bacon at 375 degrees on a foil lined for cookie sheet for 15 minutes or until desired doneness.

 

Remove bacon from the oven 3-5 minute before finished, and spoon cinnamon mixture on top of the slices. Put bacon back in the oven for 3-5 more minutes until gently caramelized.

 

Drizzle with Maple Cinnamon Almond COnutButter and serve along side other breakfast and brunch favorites!

 

Optional: top finished bacon with crushed toasted pecans for an extra crunch!
